Intersnack BV is a Dutch company engaged in the snack food sector. Apart from cookies, Intersnack is also a sizable producer of peanut snacks. The company operates 11 regional management units in the European region and operates 31 plants in 12 European countries.
Intersnack has adopted pastries from Indonesia since 1983. Chips imported include chips, cassava and vegetables. Apart from chips, Intersnack has also begun to adopt cashew kernels from Indonesia. In running its business, Intersnack has a concept that develops with suppliers, including suppliers from Indonesia.
An example is a project carried out by Intersnack with suppliers in Semarang and Sidoarjo. The project aims to make Indonesian suppliers meet world quality management standards for the export market.
